Mark Stancato is a Professional Actor, Singer/Songwriter, and Voice Over talent who works in film, television, theater, and new media. He is a company member of The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theater in North Hollywood and a member of LA Connection Improv. He resides in Burbank, CA.

Mark's main artistic focus is centered on Film and Theater Acting (dramatic, comedic, improv). Mark appeals to many Directors and Producers because of the intense focus and emotional energy he brings to every artistic endeavor. He is a mercurial actor who thrives on spontaneity and can adapt quickly to direction. He's a well-rounded performer with advanced skills as a dramatic actor, pop/rock vocalist, and contemporary songwriter.

As an actor, Mark has appeared in over fifty productions including theater, short/feature films, commercials (National/Regional), and industrials. The film work, where he either played lead or supporting roles, has garnered thirteen laurels to date.  

Mark started his career in the performing arts when he was ten years old, performing as a dancer and young entertainer in and around Chicago, IL. He landed his first paid job performing the Motown rendition of Michael Jackson's hit song "Billy Jean" to a Mother's Day crowd of fifteen hundred at the Sabre Room outside Chicago, IL. A four-minute performance ending with a standing ovation was all it took; Mark was bitten by the performance bug.

His sincere passion as an actor and musician has only grown stronger as he continues to pursue and perfect his craft.

Statement of Purpose

 To become the best version of myself is my true life’s purpose. To learn, to grow, to inspire, to collaborate, and to love is a worthy endeavor for any of us…. all of us. I continually strive to bundle up my life experiences, unique qualities, and talent so as to give it all back in a meaningful and fulfilling way. An artist needs to create. An artist has to have something to say; a unique voice that brings a character to life that helps drive a story forward… a reflection on the human condition. A life as an actor is my calling and a passionate pursuit I wake up to everyday. Life as a professional actor is not an easy life. You need a lot of courage and raw grit to keep moving forward. However, the payoff is in those artistic moments when it all comes together and the truth is unmasked.

Creating art, for me, is like breathing. If I don’t do it, I’ll perish.
